Nothing beats a gorgeous red lippie when you want to make a bold statement. Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella has become a cult classic among the dozens of reds out in the market today and for a very good reason. Nars' Lead Trainer Jason Hoffman describes Cruella as a Red that works on every skin tone and I can definitely attest to this claim. It is such a rich and balanced red hue and instantly fell in-love-at-first-swatch when I tried this at the Nars counter. The formulation is creamy, pigmented and long-lasting. Like most matte lip products out there, you will need to prep and moisturize your lips thoroughly since this will highlight dry patches and lines like a mofo.Is it worth the P1450 pricetag? Yes although it pains me to waste so much product whenever I need to sharpen it. It would've been better if they modify it to a twist up type of crayon to avoid so much waste.
If you think red lippies don't look good on you, Cruella might definitely make you think twice.
