If you haven't heard about Ofra Cosmetics then you're in for a treat!
Today I will be swatching and reviewing my 3 favorite brown toned lippies from Ofra. One of my fave brands out in the market today.
Ofra is not just another cosmetic brand but they also manufacture for other brands as well. I think they were actually the first ones who came up with the Liquid Lipstick range before Velvetines and although I love the fun and crazy shades Lime Crime comes up with, I prefer Ofra's formulation in terms of comfort, pigmentation and wearability. Swatches of Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Honolulu and Americano plus Ofra's #13 Lipstick. The first two dries up to a really matte finish while #13 gives off a creamy satin finish.
When worn (Photos shown here are true-to-color)
- Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Honolulu is a really dark brown with a hint of plum. I love the color payoff and how this does not feel drying on my lips like most matte liquid lipsticks are. The formulation is thick, creamy, matte and long-lasting.
- Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Americano is a warm-toned medium brown that would suit most skintones. This lipstick color reminds me so much of what Kylie Jenner usually wears. Again, I love the color payoff and how this does not feel drying on my lips like most matte liquid lipsticks are. The formulation is thick, creamy, matte and long-lasting.
- Ofra #13 Lipstick is a dark ruddy brown which can be a lipstick version of the Americano Liquid Lipstick if your lips can't stand matte finishes then you can still rock the Kylie Jenner lip look with this. The color is so gorgeous and perfect for the season! Formulation is pigmented and creamy. It usually lasts me 3 hours or so without eating or drinking since I also lick my lips alot.
Overall Take
If you're into pigmented, matte and long lasting lipcolor then it's time to give Ofra lippies a shot! trust me you will love their comfortable formulation (the best one out there IMO) I only wish they would come out with more fun and unconventional colors (blue, purple and green are the craziest ones they have so far).
