Revlite Treatment Review

I was super thrilled when Spectrumed invited me and Gretch to try their Revlite machine since I've heard a lot of good things about it.

This treatment is perfect for those looking for a safe, quick procedure to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin. Laser skin rejuvenation has become the procedure of choice among top celebrities and working population who cannot afford time away from work to recover from more intense procedures, or who want a better solution to sun-damaged, aging or acne-scarred skin.

What is it?

Laser skin rejuvenation is a non-invasive treatment that uses light energy to gently stimulate natural collagen growth, improve pores, remove irregular pigmentation and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Collagen provides the support network to our skin. As we age, the collagen breaks down causing lines and wrinkles. The laser works by stimulating collagen production. As the new collagen is generated, lines and wrinkles are decreased.

Additionally, years of sun exposure can cause discoloration, large pores, and pigmented or red areas on the skin. Patients report, and studies have confirmed, that this procedure results in a refreshed appearance, smoother skin texture, an even skin tone, and a decrease in pore size. Those with difficult acne scarring will also notice a marked improvement.

Laser skin rejuvenation does not affect the outer layers of skin, so there is no downtime or prolonged healing process at all.

Me before treatment. I needed to wear eye protection goggles during the procedure.

During treatment- since this uses laser technology, you will a smell something burning (that's your facial hair btw) with very minimal discomfort. Think of small rubber bands snapping gently on your skin. It's really tolerable compared to other treatments out there. Trust me I've tried quiet a few.

The magic machine

My skin after treatment. No makeup exept on eyes and eyebrows.  My skin felt more refreshed and glowing. Sorta like after getting a diamond peel. You need to stay out of the sun and use spf after treatment to protect your skin.

Overall Take
Do I recommend this to anyone? Definitely! Will I try this again? Yep I really liked its instant brightening effect. This would be perfect for those with uneven skintone, pigmentation issues, huge pores, fine lines etc. and need something that works fast with minimal downtime. Actually there was zero dowtime for me so hurrah for Revlite!!!

Update! I have been getting Revlite for more than 2 months (every 2 weeks on my face and underarms courtesy of my fave Derma Clinic Clarence and the results are amazing) My pores are smaller and skin is so even toned and smoother. Highly recommend this if you've got the moolah! <3

Enjoy summer peeps! Xx
