All I want for my birthday is a big booty ho

It's my birthday today! So happy! :) Been pigging out since the day before. I am extremely grateful for this past year. It brought a lot of changes, it has been really difficult at times but I'm stronger for it. I feel like I have grown a lot creatively speaking also.

Me goofing off hehehe

MY jam! >:)   (blame my brothers :s )

Anyway since it is all about me today here's more random shiz about drumroll please..... ME!

Lets take a trip down memory lane and view some old photos to illustrate some makeup and beauty lessons I've learned along the way:

1.) Chola eyebrows!!! Now I know some of you might have sparse/barely there eyebrows but Please avoid this at all costs!!!..I went through a decade sporting these pair lolz :s Kilay palang pamatay na! trololol!

2.) When it comes to makeup, try to balance it out and don't pile on too much. Blend properly (chola eyebrows again)

There's a party in my face! and you're not invited! hahaha! :p

3.) Overly arched/thin eyebrows can age you and make you look like a porn star (but hey if you dig it I'm not hatin' hehehe). Try the straight ulzzang eyebrows for a more youthful look.

4.) Constant hair bleaching will alter hair texture and will make you lose volume/thickness. My hair used to be thicker before I went blond. There are proper ways to bleach/lighten your hair but who are we kidding here, it will damage your hair eventually if you keep bleaching it for a long period of time (I've had bleached hair for 2 years plus)

5.) Never cut your hair short when your face is fat/chubby! If possible, never cut your hair short, EVER. I was single for the longest time when I cut my hair short :s I was always the cool crazy girl friend stuck in the friend zone until a guy friend gave me that piece of advice (tough love) hahaha!

6.) Hairstyle, color and makeup can age you or make you look younger. When I went platinum blonde a year ago, I sometimes compensated for the color by wearing too much bronzer. My eyebrows were also arched too high. Looking back I looked way older then. Bangs/a fringe can also make you look younger but choose one that flatters your face shape.

7.) BUT NEVER cut your own bangs if you have no idea how to do it.

                                                      Retard junkie look :s

8.) Always prioritize your skin and use sunscreen! I had really awful acne prone skin before. I've learned that having good skin gives you more confidence and allows you more freedom and creativity to express your style. Instead of spending way too much on cosmetics and clothes, please take care of your skin first ok? A couple of years from now those clothes and cosmetics will expire/won't matter but your skin will reflect how well you've been taking care of it or not. (I'll make a separate post about my skincare tips/routine and how I dealt with acne soon so watch out for that)

I feel so happy and blessed for this journey of self discovery and improvement that is my life. I am so grateful for my friends, my loved ones, my blog and my readers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for all your wonderful comments and support. I really appreciate it! Thank you from the bottom of my heart <3

Stay pretty and live a fabulous life! xx
